Here at Women in STEM (WIS), we’re committed to investing in female youth and inspiring the next generation to explore STEM fields while also building community resiliency.

Through the Identify N' Impact grant from the City of Toronto, WIS was founded in 2020 to support underserved female youth between the ages of 15-25. Many youth, especially female youth, face societal and familial pressures and do not feel they have a safe space to connect. Our main goal is to provide a safe space for youth and families to gather and explore their interests in STEM, while also engaging them in discussions on how to build resilient communities in these current times.
